​Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, participated on 28 November in the third edition of the Arab Government Excellence Award ceremony, held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat. During the event, 23 winners were honoured from among the main categories of the award.

Aboul Gheit welcomes ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel

​​Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, welcomed the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel. In a statement upon his return to Cairo on 27 November, he remarked, "This agreement represents a significant step towards de-escalation and halting the bloodshed. It must be implemented in full and with precision to enable Lebanon to recover and regain stability swiftly."

​Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, participated on 25 November in the opening of the tenth edition of the Rome Mediterranean Dialogues Forum in Rome, Italy. The event was attended by the Italian President, alongside several Arab and foreign ministers.
