​Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, took the opportunity of his visit to Qatar to participate in significant meetings to tour Sidra Hospital in Doha, which has received a considerable number of Gazan children who have fallen victim to the brutal Israeli aggression. Mr. Aboul Gheit was accompanied by Her Excellency Mrs. Lulua bint Rashid Al Khater, Minister of State for International Cooperation.

League Council convenes extraordinary session at the level of permanent delegates on the continuation of crimes of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the US veto in the Security Council

​The extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States was convened at the level of permanent delegates on 24 April at the General Secretariat headquarters. The session was called upon the request of the State of Palestine and garnered unanimous support from all member states to address the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the escalating aggression and the US veto at the UN Security Council against the full membership of the State of Palestine in the UN.
