The extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates was convened on 22 January at the General Secretariat headquarters. Chaired by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Ait Ouali, the Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States for the Kingdom of Morocco (currently holding the presidency of the League Council, 160th ordinary summit), the meeting was dedicated to discussing Israeli plans against the Palestinian people.
In attendance were distinguished permanent delegates, heads of delegations, and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Said Abu Ali, the Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector. The session was convened in response to the request of the State of Palestine, enjoying the support of all member states.
