The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States is actively engaged in a specialised training course for diplomats, which is currently underway at the Sushma Swaraj Institute for the Diplomatic Corps under the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The training is scheduled to take place from 23 August to 1 September in the city of New Delhi.
In response to the invitation extended by His Excellency Ambassador Ajit Gupteh, who serves as the Ambassador of the Republic of India in Cairo, the delegation from the General Secretariat participating in the training programme visited the Embassy of the Republic of India in Cairo on Thursday, 17 August. During the visit, the Ambassador graciously welcomed the delegation and addressed them with a warm introductory speech. In his remarks, he discussed the robust relations between India and Arab countries, emphasising the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two regions. Additionally, he provided a succinct presentation on India's tourism industry, highlighting its key attractions.
Expressing gratitude for the gracious invitation, the General Secretariat representative extended sincere appreciation to the Ambassador of India for his hospitality. Gratitude was also extended to the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sushma Swaraj Institute in New Delhi for organising this training session. The representative emphasised the substantial role that this training course plays in fortifying the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two sides.
