  • General Secretariat organises training course on "Cyberwars and Their Impact on National Security"

    The Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector (Training and Work Methods Development Department) is organising a training course on "Cyberwars and Their Impact on National Security," on 15-16 April 2025, at the General Secretariat headquarters.

    The course was inaugurated by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Saleh Al-Ajeri, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector. His Excellency highlighted the significance of this course, stressing the need to intensify such training programmes and to continue offering courses targeting both General Secretariat staff and Arab personnel. He also highlighted the critical importance of raising awareness of cybersecurity principles and their implications for regional national security, given the risks posed by cyber threats. The course was delivered by Dr. Rehab Hosni Hamed Al-Rahmawi, a distinguished expert in cybersecurity.

    The training was attended by representatives from the delegations of Arab countries to the League of Arab States, including the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Sudan, the Syrian Republic, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Kuwait, and the State of Libya, as well as staff from the General Secretariat.
