His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Manzalawi, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the International Political Affairs Sector at the League of Arab States, received His Excellency Dr. Ali Saleh, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Yemen to the League of Arab States, at his office on 20 January.
The meeting focused on discussing the outcomes of the Council of the League of Arab States' session held at the level of permanent delegates, along with ambassadors and representatives of Latin American and Caribbean countries accredited to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The session, which took place on 11 September 2024 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, centred on garnering support for the State of Palestine in its pursuit of full membership in the United Nations.
