The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States condemned the
shooting at Wadi Al-Kabir area in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, on the
evening of 15 July, which resulted in several casualties and injuries,
including a policeman.
Gamal Roshdy, the spokesman for the Secretary-General of the
League, expressed full solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman in its
measures to maintain security and stability.
Roshdy conveyed the Secretary-General's sincere condolences to the
government and people of the Sultanate of Oman and to the families of
the victims, wishing a full and speedy recovery for the injured.
