The General Secretariat Library hosted its second book fair titled "An Opportunity to Read" from 10 to 13 July, at the library's headquarters. The Secretary-General inaugurated the fair and was presented with an overview of the available books and references. The event served as a valuable opportunity for General Secretariat employees to enrich their professional knowledge in the realms of joint Arab efforts and explore their cultural interests across various humanities and social sciences. The books, relevant to their specialisations, are available free of charge, aligning with the broader objective of maximising the utility of duplicated collections in multiple languages stored within the General Secretariat's library holdings. The fair garnered considerable admiration and interest from a diverse audience, particularly among General Secretariat employees, owing to the richness and variety of the collections spanning various fields.
