Operationalizing cooperation between the Council of the Arab Ministers of Communications and the Council of the Arab Ministers of Information, in implementation of the Arab Decade for Participatory Development of Information and Communications (2009-2018).
Developing the Arab Media Strategy of projects and programmes in consistent with the Arab reality and the information updates, as well as developing and implementing draft plans and programmes for the joint Arab media with a view to highlighting the Arab attitudes, defending the Arab rights and countering any anti-Arab campaigns, cooperatively with all departments of the Sector.
Creating and providing beneficiaries with standardized databases containing media laws and legislations in the Arab States and following up on the updates; sharing expertise and knowledge; and preparing questionnaire for database creation.
Developing the foundations and rules that lead to strengthening cooperation with the Arab, regional and international media organizations and federations. As well as cooperating with the Arab League relevant organs for developing the criteria of media civil society organizations accession as an observer to the Council of the Arab Ministers of Information or participation in Arab and international seminars, conferences relating to information.
Uploading all resolutions and recommendations issued by the Council of the Arab Ministers of Information, the Executive Board and committees and working groups formed thereof on the League of Arab States website and portal.
