Today, marks the 36th anniversary of the horrific massacre against Palestinian refugees in The Sabra and Shatila camps on 16 September, 1982. It was a three-day massacre where the Israeli occupation army led by the Israeli culprits Ariel Sharon and Rafael Eitan besieged and stormed the two camps to carry out their heinous crimes. They used all kinds of weapons against unarmed refugees and civilians and against children as young as three and pregnant women whose stomachs were ripped in cold blood and mercilessly and inhumanely. The incident that left thousands of men, women, children and the elderly killed shocked the whole world. The Israeli occupation forces prevented journalists, media and news agencies from reaching the camps. The world did not wake up except for one of the most horrific massacres known to humanity throughout its history.
