At the invitation of His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and in coordination with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and President of the 33rd Ordinary Session at the Summit Level, the Council of the League of Arab States convened an extraordinary summit on 4 March 2025. The summit was held in response to a request from the State of Palestine to address the recent grave developments in the Palestinian cause.
The summit was attended by Their Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses—Kings, Presidents, and Princes of Arab states—alongside His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
