During the ceremony, Ambassador Al-Maliki delivered a speech emphasising the initiative's pivotal role in strengthening cooperation among Arab countries to address and mitigate fire-related disasters. He highlighted the establishment of an integrated Arab network comprising volunteers, civil society organisations, and governmental bodies, working collaboratively as a unified team. Additionally, he underscored the importance of exchanging expertise and best practices in disaster management, aligning these efforts with the objectives of the Arab Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction 2030.
