The General Secretariat's Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector, represented by the Training and Work Methods Development Department, organised an introductory training programme on the activities of the League of Arab States' sectors for a delegation of Kuwaiti diplomats. The programme took place from to 5 December at the General Secretariat's headquarters.
The visit was inaugurated by Ambassador Mohammed Saleh Al-Ajeri, Assistant Secretary-General and head of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Sector, alongside Ambassador Talal Khaled Al-Mutairi, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the League of Arab States. In his opening remarks, His Excellency underscored the importance of intensifying such training programmes and emphasised the need for continued engagement with Arab youth—particularly diplomats from Arab countries—through introductory courses on the League of Arab States. These initiatives aim to deepen understanding of the League’s objectives, operational mechanisms, and decision-making processes.
The training programme featured a series of introductory lectures, providing insights into the League’s history, structure, and working mechanisms. Topics covered included the League's efforts in economic and Arab affairs, national and social security, combating terrorism, and legal treaties and agreements. Additionally, the programme highlighted the League’s significant contributions in addressing issues related to refugees and migration.
