The General Secretariat will host the 96th session of the Conference of Liaison Officers of the Regional Offices of the Arab Boycott of Israel at its headquarters on 2-3 July 2024. The session is held in accordance with the resolutions of the League of Arab States Councils at both the summit and foreign ministers' levels, most recently affirmed at the Bahrain Summit on 16 May 2024.
The summit's Resolution 854, Paragraph 32, emphasised "taking all necessary measures to ensure the boycott of all companies and businesses operating in illegal Israeli settlements in the Palestinian and Arab territories occupied in 1967." Delegations from Arab countries, along with a representative from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, will participate in the conference.
