Minister Plenipotentiary Hala Gad, director of the Information and Documentation Department, delivered an introductory lecture on the history of the League of Arab States and its operational framework on 19 February 2023.
The lecture was part of the visit of a delegation of Omani diplomats to the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States. During their visit to the library of the Secretariat, the delegation was presented with a copy of the compendium of speeches and addresses delivered by the Secretaries-General of the League of Arab States from 1945 to 2018.
The encyclopaedia, which consists of 15 volumes, is part of the Memory of the League of Arab States project.
